Emergency Medicine conducts innovative research with the goals of discovering and implementing best practices for the acute care of children, furthering the field of simulation-based medical education, and serving as a leader in pediatric injury prevention, disaster preparedness, and pediatric emergency services. A major focus in the coming year will be studying the move to the new hospital and its effects on patient care and workflow.
